Aim and the benefit of the Patient Safety Practice
 
Copliance with a Standart Haematology transfusion. Compliance with the requirements of the national standard for haematology tranfusion, of the rules set out in the internationally accepted Guidelines, and the generally accepted rules of good clinical practice . Transfusion haemotology is majorir in interdisciplinary interacting with all other medical specialties. At the same time, the specificity of the activities of Haematology determine specific characteristics of its general regulations.

Description of the Patient Safety Practice
 
Department of Haematology, University Hospital Division is "Anna" Sofia, performing healing, control - diagnostic, organizational - methodological and practical problems in the field of Haematology. The department supplies all blood components Hospitals in Sofia district and carries out research imunohematologichni their patients. Perform mandatory HAEMOVIGILANCE through which it is possible to follow the trail of blood - from donor to recipient.

Department of Haematology is headed by Head of Department - Dr. Nikolay Andreev

The department employs 4 doctors - ordinators, medical laboratory - 7 nurses - 7 and 3 bathrooms.
The main objective is Screening of donated blood for transmissible infections and examining patients for antierythrocyte bodies and testing for compatibility with any transfusion.
In Bulgaria the quality of the blood is improved and quality of heading process.
National Agency of medicaments provided information on blood obtained considering whether suitable.
